Best Ice Cream in Boston

So during these dog days of summer, I've decided to make it my personal quest to find the best icecream in Beantown. Boston is full of **great** even **FABULOUS** local icecream jaunts. I've tried each one of the places below and I'll tell you, my ratings are not scientific by any means but I will tell you what I liked best! So here are the spots I've tried:

JP Licks (Davis Sq)

DELICIOUS oreo cakebatter with peanut butter topping. Cute place, long lines, but nice benches outside to enjoy the evening while licking your icecream.

White Mountain Creamery (Chestnut Hill)

AMAZING!! This place has charm and plenty of room to sit and enjoy an icecream with a friend. Great selection and all the icecream is made from scratch. My favorite? Peanut butter softserve with chocolate covered raisins on top. The icecream cakes are glorious as well.

Emack & Bolios (Porter Square)

Great smoothies!! This place is perfect for when you step off the T after a long day of work and need a quick boost before dinner! Try the Citrus Smoothie.

Lizzy's Homemade IceCream (Harvard Sq)

BUTTER CRUNCH = WOW! This place is cute. It's unique and homey. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon while strolling through Harvard Square!

AND THE WINNER IS.......White Mountain Creamery!! You can't beat this place. Well worth the T-ride out of the city just a bit to beautiful Chestnut Hill!! Get your cone and take a stroll through the beautiful Boston College Campus. Life is good!
